When you go to someone's home, you see a whole lot about a person. You can look at the entrance of their home and see how welcoming it is. You can go inside and see the colors they use. You can see what kind of things are important for them to live comfortably in and what types of furniture they are attracted to. We call it a home because it is where our family puts their lives with all our hopes and dreams. In other words, it is Who We Are! The question is Who Are You? What are you wanting to do with your life? What is your vision or your mission statement for your growth as a believer. Believe it not, you don't put a dart board on the wall, close your eyes and shoot. You learn to discern God's Plans and then you act on them. By the way, God does have a great plan, but you just need to pray for God to show You His ways. He will.
Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version) For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God has some great plans for you and this part of the house is the cool part. You get to dream and the dreams God gives you are full of expectancy and hope. Before you go any further in your house building you need to see how God has equipped you through the way He has made you, mix in His perfect plans and one last ingredient. You need to add faith. Nothing will ever happen if you don't believe that God has a plan and He is ready to start it all into motion.
Spend time today asking God what He wants you to do to take your next step and then walk. Walk. That is your act of faith. Move. It's amazing that when you step out in faith it ignites God's Great Plans and the rest is Him using you in an awesome way.
